IT Procurement Manager (Contract) – Baden / Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to support a key strategic sourcing project for a major Swiss organisation. You’ll work closely with category leaders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-value procurement outcomes across IT, SaaS, Cloud, Hardware, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure.
Key points at a glance:
- Hybrid role based in Baden (2-3 days on-site expected)
- Fluent German and English is essential
- IT Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Contract Negotiation / Supplier Management experience required
- Contract until January 2026 (initial 6 months)
Day to Day responsibilities:
- Support category leaders in defining and delivering IT procurement strategies
- Lead supplier analysis, negotiations, and contract management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage sourcing projects
- Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and risk
- Collaborate with stakeholders on forecasting and procurement initiatives
- Analyse procurement data to provide strategic insights
Ideal Background / Experience:
- Several years’ experience in IT procurement and strategic sourcing
- Strong background in supplier negotiations and contract management
- Solid understanding of procurement policies, compliance, and risk management
- Fluent in German and English (must-have)
- Proficiency with procurement tools (e.g., SAP), Excel, Power BI, and sourcing platforms
- Organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment
