IT Project Manager – 4+ Years Experience

What you will be doing:

As an IT Project Manager, you will work very closely delivering IT Projects and working on increasing transparency in the organisation. You will support the IT Projects team that operates billions in payments each year. This is the core of our business and we have an ambitious goals roadmap we need you to support delivering. You’ll work with the infrastructure, product and business teams to deliver innovative ways to maintain our services, enabling best in class, scalable payments online. You’ll be responsible for facilitating project success and continuously improving processes in the organisation.

What you will be responsible for:

● Ensure timely delivery of assigned project activities (High Level Plans, Scope, Timeline/Roadmaps, Reports, Risk Management, Project Governance), with high quality documentation, reporting and planning throughout

● Ensure all project statuses are kept up to date by the use of the PM tooling that is present for managing the IT Project portfolio

● Document and manage deliverables for all stages of the project or change, including requirements gathering, processes, schedules, RAID log, steering reports

● Facilitate team meetings and ensure inputs, decision and outputs are achieved

● Responsible for gathering and publishing relevant metrics

● Supports delivery team reporting and governance

● Transparency is key in our way of working, you’ll work on simplifying reporting to increase transparency in our department and keeping up to date team forecasts.

● You’ll support the communications with our stakeholders and ensure that our stakeholders and teams get the relevant information required. You’ll follow and track projects and programs and highlight risks or blockers.

● We’re a collaborative lot; you’ll work with Scrum Masters, Infrastructure and Operations teams, Engineering teams, IT Project Managers, Security and Product/Function Managers on a daily basis.

● We’re a delivery oriented team; commitment and delivering early, often and to plan is critical. You’ll drive internal projects, solving problems and working to remove impediments to completion.

● We are an innovative bunch, you’ll support innovative Agile policies, processes and tools that will drive our ways of working in the near future.

● We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time also.

What qualities you will bring: Technical Expertise

● 4+ Experience in IT Project Management

● Good understanding and practice of agile methodologies, Scrum and Scaling principles, XP, Kanban, Lean, SAFe etc.

● Proficient presentation skills including proficient slideshows presentation skills (PowerPoint/Google Slides/M365)

● Data analysis knowledge (Excel, Google Data Studio, Google Suite…) and experience on reporting and metrics gathering and analysis

● As a technologist you will be fully conversant with all aspects of software and infrastructure project work

● Knowledge of payments industry and ecommerce is a plus Planning & Delivery

● Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills

● A proven ability to support the delivery of projects in a fast-paced environment

● Strong experience in agile development and project delivery practices

● Experience of the technology, tools and techniques that support agile development (e.g. planning workshops, project management tools (Jira, Monday.com, etc.), reporting on project progress)

● Qualification in project management is a must (Prince2, CAPM, PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, etc) Quality Orientation

● Strong attention to detail

● Committed to high quality in project documentation, delivery processes and outputs and seek continuous improvement of these Communication & Relationship Management

● Great organisational and time management skills

● Excellent written and verbal communication

● Experience with in person and remote facilitation skills

● Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor communication to the audience
