We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in financial services to lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end IT projects within regulated environments, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across the full project lifecycle
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and resources effectively
- Ensure adherence to financial services regulations, governance frameworks, and security standards
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and documentation
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues proactively
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and provide clear communication on project progress
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and business expectations
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager within the financial services sector (e.g banking, insurance, asset management)
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments
- Experience delivering technology projects such as system implementations, digital transformation, or infrastructure upgrades
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMP)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications)
- Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or data analytics projects
- Knowledge of enterprise tools such as Jira, MS Project, or ServiceNow
