Manager – Associate Product Controller, Fixed Income (Control Analyst)

A leading global re/insurance organization is seeking an Associate Product Controller to support its Fixed Income investment strategies. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of daily P&L and financial reporting across a diverse portfolio of credit-focused assets.
About the Role
This position sits at the intersection of Finance and Investments within Asset Management Finance. You will play a critical role in performance analysis, reporting, and control oversight – ensuring accuracy, transparency, and meaningful insights across investment results.
This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to fixed income asset classes while working closely with senior stakeholders across Investments, Finance, and Analytics.
Key Responsibilities

Produce and deliver accurate daily and monthly P&L reports to senior leadership, including detailed performance attribution and commentary across asset classes

Serve as a key point of contact for performance-related inquiries from Front Office, Investment Reporting, and other internal stakeholders

Partner with investment teams to ensure reported P&L is complete, accurate, and aligned with underlying activity; proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies

Support and enhance reporting infrastructure in collaboration with IT and Analytics teams, improving scalability and efficiency

Maintain and strengthen procedural controls around reporting processes, ensuring consistency, governance, and transparency

Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects that drive process improvement and reporting enhancements
Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3-7 years of experience in asset management, product control, investment accounting, or financial services

Strong understanding of credit markets, including corporate bonds, loans, and securitized instruments

Solid knowledge of end-to-end reporting and control processes

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data integrity
