Practive & Innovation Attorney (NY, NY)

Key function of this role is reporting to the Global Director of Market Intelligence and Practice Innovation and helping to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of knowledge and data assets for the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and remediate AI‑extracted data; develop tailored GenAI prompts and scalable workflows (playbooks, decision trees, exception/escalation paths).
  • Curate clause banks, exemplars, issues lists, deal‑point databases; maintain matter/experience trackers.
  • Deliver trainings on tools, data standards, AI usage, and best practices; respond to practitioner inquiries and surface precedents.
  • Where aligned with client matters, handle billable benchmarking/surveys/fund reviews.
  • Perform additional KM/innovation tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in asset management (private funds/fund formation and/or registered funds).
  • JD/bar preferred (not required).
  • Familiarity with fund docs, side letters, subs, LP issues, regulatory touchpoints, and market terms.
  • Proven KM/tech process experience (precedent curation, playbooks, deal‑point tracking).
  • Comfort with legal tech, GenAI/prompt engineering, and data structuring.
  • Excellent drafting/analytical communication, detail‑orientation, judgment, and timeline management.
