Product Analyst – AI & Automation Enablement

A purpose-led financial services organisation is looking for a Product Analyst to help shape and scale its Automation & AI capability across the business.

This is a delivery-focused role sitting between Operations, Technology, Digital and Risk teams – ideal for someone who enjoys turning messy operational problems into structured, controlled and measurable automation or AI solutions.

You’ll play a key role in helping the organisation deliver automation safely in a regulated environment, ensuring initiatives are properly scoped, governed, measurable and ready for operational handover.

What you’ll be doing

  • Translate operational pain points into clear automation and AI use cases
  • Produce delivery-ready requirements and process documentation
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements including monitoring, auditability and rollback controls
  • Support governance processes with concise decision papers and evidence packs
  • Maintain automation and AI registers, ownership records and benefit tracking
  • Work closely with Operations, Technology, Risk and delivery partners to support scalable change
  • Help define measurable business outcomes including efficiency gains, risk reduction and cost savings
  • Support BAU readiness including support models, monitoring and operational handovers
  • Create simple user guidance and adoption materials where needed

What we’re looking for

  • Experience translating business problems into structured requirements and delivery artefacts
  • Strong business analysis and stakeholder management capability
  • Experience working in regulated or controlled environments
  • Understanding of governance, controls and risk-aware change delivery
  • Ability to communicate technical and operational concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and navigating ambiguity
  • Data-literate with strong analytical thinking

Desirable experience

  • Exposure to workflow automation, low-code platforms or AI-enabled initiatives
  • Experience supporting process redesign and operational transformation
  • Background working with Technology, Operations and Risk functions
  • Agile, Lean or related certifications

Ideal profile

You’ll likely come from a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Change Analyst or Process Improvement background and enjoy working on transformation initiatives where structure, governance and delivery all matter equally.

This role would suit someone pragmatic, organised and commercially minded who can balance customer outcomes, business value and technical constraints.
