Project Manager – Business & Finance Change

Remote/Hybrid (London)
Salary up to £65,000 + bonus

We’re supporting a leading UK financial services organisation undergoing a significant business and operating model transformation. As part of this growth, we’re hiring two permanent Project Managers to join a high-performing change function.

You’ll work across finance and operational change initiatives in an environment transitioning from traditional waterfall delivery towards a more product-led, agile-centric model.

The Role

Reporting into senior change leadership, you’ll manage multiple projects end-to-end, owning delivery from initiation through to implementation. You’ll operate in a hybrid “Wagile” environment, balancing structure with adaptability as priorities evolve.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing full project lifecycle across business and finance change initiatives

  • Building business cases and driving project initiation

  • Creating and maintaining plans, budgets, forecasts and RAID logs

  • Managing cross-workstream dependencies, risks and priorities

  • Owning scope, cost and timeline changes with clear stakeholder communication

  • Engaging SMEs and senior stakeholders to drive decision-making and buy-in

  • Facilitating workshops and supporting effective business change and adoption

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-5 years’ experience delivering business and/or finance change projects

  • Strong background across waterfall, agile and iterative delivery environments

  • Experience working with third-party and offshore delivery teams

  • Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills

  • Strong planning capability, including MS Project and Office tools

  • Experience within financial services

  • Comfortable with change, shifting priorities and taking ownership

This role offers clear progression as the change function evolves, including future opportunities to move into product-aligned roles such as Product Owner.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary up to £65,000 plus performance-related bonus

  • Hybrid working (London-based, limited office days per year)

  • Strong benefits package including pension, private healthcare and enhanced annual leave

  • Investment in development and long-term career progression
