Protection and Resilience – Operations Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing self-assessment reviews and support the delivery of associated action plans
  • Participate in internal governance forums related to resilience, protection, and outsourcing
  • Support business owners in fulfilling requirements under Protection & Resilience standards, including due diligence and risk assessments
  • Contribute to Business Continuity Management activities, including impact assessments, identification of critical functions, and testing of continuity plans
  • Help ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in the event of disruptions
  • Support emergency response efforts as part of the local response structure, helping to safeguard employees and operations
  • Assist in identifying potential crisis scenarios and assessing emerging threats relevant to the business
  • Help ensure appropriate training and preparedness for individuals involved in crisis and emergency response functions
  • Support incident management processes across both IT and non-IT events, including coordination of major ICT-related incidents
  • Contribute to incident classification and response processes, including participation in response teams when activated
  • Assist in Identity & Access Management processes, ensuring appropriate access controls, role management, and segregation of duties
  • Working closely with Internal and External stakeholders including Senior leadership, business unit heads, operations teams, information security, data protection, and other specialist functions and Third-party service providers, administrators, and external consultants

Key requirements:

  • Degree in business, economics, law, or a related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience within financial services (insurance or consulting experience beneficial)
  • Strong understanding of Protection & Resilience disciplines
  • Experience with risk management, business continuity, or operational resilience frameworks
  • Project management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, including urgent and time-sensitive issues
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders and monitoring service delivery against SLAs
  • Good understanding of business processes and organisational objectives
  • Proactive and capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
