Oliver James is supporting a global re-insurer with the appointment of theirSMF-4 Chief Risk function for the European and North American regions. This role will be reporting into the global risk officer. This role is very varied and would suit a more experienced candidate with a wide range of experience in actuarial risk at a life insurer preferably from a protections background.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- FIA – Life Actuary
- Experience working at a senior level in an insurance risk function
- Developed stress testing scenarios
- Lead delivery of ORSA
- Developed and implemented risk management frameworks
This role is great for someone with a varied set of experience within life insurance risk that is looking for the next challenge in their career. This is an opportunity to work at a global level. Whilst North American experience is advantageous candidates with European experience can be considered at this stage as there as North American experts in the team to offer support.
