Job Title: Senior SAP Program Manager – Oil & Gas/Energy
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Compensation: $175,000 to $275,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end SAP transformation initiatives, including ECC modernization, S/4HANA adoption, and cloud-enabled SAP landscapes
- Lead integrated delivery teams spanning architecture, functional consulting, infrastructure, data, integration, and security
- Develop governance models, executive reporting frameworks, and steering committee processes
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies among consulting partners, cloud providers, and third-party vendors
- Oversee release management, deployment readiness, cutover execution, and issue resolution activities
- Manage program financials including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and profitability targets
- Support pre-sales activities including solution shaping, statement-of-work development, and executive presentations
- Monitor delivery KPIs, operational risks, and program performance indicators
- Partner with senior business and technology leaders to define strategic roadmaps and transformation priorities
- Facilitate executive governance sessions and provide clear visibility into program health, milestones, and business impact
- Ensure strong collaboration between operational business units and technical delivery organizations
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client leadership teams
- Candidates should possess substantial experience supporting operations within the Energy sector, including exposure to:
- Exploration & production environments
- Pipeline transportation and logistics operations
- Refining, supply chain, and distribution networks
- Asset management and plant maintenance programs
- Regulatory compliance and operational safety initiatives
- Hydrocarbon accounting, scheduling, and trading processes
- Experience delivering SAP-enabled solutions tailored to industry-specific operational requirements is highly preferred.
- Lead adoption of:
- SAP S/4HANA
- RISE with SAP
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Automation, analytics, and AI-enabled operational capabilities
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and increase scalability
Required Skills
- 15+ years of SAP delivery and transformation experience
- 8+ years leading enterprise-level SAP programs
- Proven success managing large-scale global SAP engagements valued at $25M+
- Experience overseeing:
- SAP ECC to S/4HANA transitions
- Application managed services (AMS) programs
- Multi-vendor delivery ecosystems
- Strong understanding of core SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, and EAM
- Demonstrated expertise in governance, budgeting, risk management, and executive communication
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Experience
- Background in Energy, Utilities, or Oil & Gas industries
- Familiarity with SAP industry solutions including IS-Oil, PRA, TSW, and EAM
- Experience with Clean Core strategies and cloud transformation initiatives
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or SAP Activate
- Prior experience within a global consulting, systems integration, or enterprise transformation environment
