Job Title: SAP SD Functional Lead

Location: Fully Remote

Salary Range: $160,000 to $260,000

Overview:

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex SAP initiatives involving S/4HANA modernization, digital transformation, cloud integration, and process optimization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that help organizations improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of SAP SD solutions in customer-facing engagements from planning through execution.
• Drive solution design, configuration, and optimization across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Support organizations through SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation programs, including roadmap development and implementation planning.
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver integrated enterprise solutions.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution designs, and implementation standards.
• Ensure smooth transition of completed solutions into production support and managed services teams.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior consultants and project team members.
• Configure and support integrations between SAP SD and FI, including accounts receivable, inventory accounting, pricing, and intercompany processes.
• Collaborate on SD-MM integration activities, including material master and logistics-related impacts to order management processes.

Skills Needed:

• 12+ years of experience delivering SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA solutions in leadership roles such as Functional Lead, Solution Architect, or Program Lead.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience within SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Sales & Distribution (SD).
• Strong knowledge of sales and service-related business processes with deep SAP configuration expertise.
• Experience supporting large-scale greenfield and brownfield SAP implementations.
• Industry experience within Oil & Gas or other asset-intensive industries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in consulting or enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a global consulting or professional services organization.
• Working knowledge of SAP MM, WM, QM, or PP modules.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori applications and user experience enhancements.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SAP landscapes and hybrid integration models.
