Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee a wide range of accounting tasks, from routine entries to more complex analyses that support daily operational needs
- Participate in recurring close cycles for several entities by preparing journal entries, conducting account reviews, performing reconciliations, and refining documentation standards
- Assist in preparing materials for audits and regulatory reviews
- Provide support and guidance to accounting and support teams, helping to ensure timely completion of reporting milestones and contributing to special initiatives
Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical capabilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant financial or insurance related environment, with exposure to warranty or service contract accounting considered a plus
- Familiarity with revenue recognition and experience applying US GAAP in multi-entity or underwriting related contexts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
