Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst, you will:

  • Build and maintain actuarial models to support data-driven decision making
  • Deliver clear, accurate, and actionable insights to management and cross-functional teams
  • Develop efficient, transparent analyses that align with business goals
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy through thorough validation and reasonability checks
  • Take ownership of work by proactively improving processes, systems, and methodologies
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, balancing quality, timelines, and scope
  • Execute recurring analyses independently and escalate issues when needed
  • Collaborate across teams to foster strong working relationships and shared success
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Stay current on actuarial methods, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed

Key Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of actuarial experience
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance, annuities, accident & health, and/or financial economics
  • Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong modeling capabilities with proficiency in tools such as Excel, VBA, Access, Python, R, and actuarial software (e.g., MG-Triton, MG-ALFA, PolySystems, FactSet)
