Senior Application Manager – Education
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (80-100%)
Location: Canton Zurich (Hybrid work)
We are working with one of our exciting clients to recruit a Senior Application Manager. This role is ideal for someone who wants to ensure smooth and efficient digital processes that support the student journey, while continuously improving and advancing education management systems.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively improve and further develop the Education Management System.
- Plan, implement, and test system updates and releases.
- Analyse stakeholder requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Monitor and ensure the reliable operation of the system.
- Investigate, analyse, and resolve incidents in close collaboration with ICT teams.
- Support the operation of web-based applications and related digital tools.
Candidate profile
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, with substantial experience managing complex IT environments.
- Strong experience in IT systems management and application support.
- Understanding of digital interfaces and process integration.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Curious, systematic, and persistent approach to solving complex challenges.
- Fluent in German (written and verbal), with a solid working knowledge of English.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
