Senior Cloud Engineer- 60k-95k + 10% bonus
I’m working with a Global Insurance firm who looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer for their Madrid office, where they are building a strategic technology hub as they cement their status as a market leader and grow their tech capability.
You will join the Public Cloud Platform Delivery Team designs, builds and operates secure cloud platforms and shared services that enhance value-driven adoption. We partner with application delivery teams to innovate and operate solutions that increase business value while maintaining security and compliance. Responsibilities include:

Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell).

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab to automate and standardize application delivery.

Implement DevSecOps best practices, ensuring security, compliance, and reliability across cloud platforms.

Support application teams by optimizing cloud performance, reliability, and developer experience.

Build and maintain custom automation and monitoring tools using Python and KQL.

Operate and manage core Azure services, including AKS, App Services, networking, data, and integration services.

Implement monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure application health and resilience.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders (Product Owners, Architects, and engineering teams) in a fast-paced, transformational environment.
Requirements:
- Experience with Bicep, Powershell & Azure
- Ideally some experience with Terraform and strong knowledge in Azure Platform Services
- High-level English (C1)
