Senior Data Analytics Leader

We’re hiring on behalf of a leading insurance client in Dublin for a Senior Data Analytics Leader. This role supports global claims oversight by delivering data-driven insights, enhancing reporting capabilities, and driving data quality for regulatory and performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct root-cause analysis of claims KPIs to support performance improvement

Monitor trends, identify anomalies, and follow up with local teams on deviations

Build and enhance Power BI dashboards using Databricks

Promote data quality and assurance across systems

Automate workflows using tools like Power Automate

Support AI and data integration initiatives for unified insights
-
Collaborate with Underwriting, Pricing, and Actuarial teams to align data perspectives

Highlight quality assurance issues and support targeted reviews

Provide ad-hoc reports in response to regulatory requests

Lead data investigations and analytics to identify performance drivers

Deliver high-quality dashboards in collaboration with global and local MI teams

Consolidate data from multiple sources and provide commentary and trend analysis

Ensure local teams follow data and reporting standards
Key Skills & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field

5+ years’ experience in financial data, analytics, or reporting
-
Strong Power BI and Excel skills in a claims or insurance setting

Proficient in SQL; experience with Databricks
-
Python or R experience

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Fluent in English
