Senior Data Engineer – Contract (Inside IR35) – London
I’m looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a global reinsurance client on a 6-month Inside IR35 contract. You’ll play a key role in a major back-office transformation and help build a brand-new enterprise data warehouse.
Role Overview

Build, enhance, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake & DBT

Translate business requirements into technical specifications

Support the design and delivery of a new enterprise data platform

Develop and maintain SQL-based transformations and models
-
Collaborate with ingestion, visualisation, and engineering teams

Work within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience Required

Strong SQL skills

Hands-on experience with Snowflake & DBT

Solid understanding of data modelling and transformation layers

Experience with Azure DevOps / CI/CD

Ability to work end-to-end across data engineering workflows
-
Insurance or reinsurance experience is essential
Contract Details

Inside IR35 – up to £600 per day

6 months, with potential to extend

Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite (Wednesdays required)
