About the role
We’ve partnered with a leading company in Switzerland to hire a hands-on Kafka expert who will build and run a central event streaming platform in a complex, high-availability environment.
You’ll take ownership of Kafka, integration, and API platforms, helping drive the move towards an event-driven architecture.
What you’ll do
- Build and operate a Kafka-based event streaming platform
- Own integration & API management solutions (cloud + on-prem)
- Ensure scalability, monitoring, and stability
- Define and implement integration best practices
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners
- Participate in on-call rotation
What you bring
- Strong hands-on Kafka experience (must-have)
- Background in integration / middleware / messaging
- Experience with high-availability platforms
- Exposure to API management tools
- Solid understanding of distributed systems
- Fluent German + good English
- Based in Switzerland
