About the Role
Join a fast-growing health insurtech company transforming how people access and experience healthcare. As Senior Manager, Technical Accounting, you’ll own our technical accounting strategy and play a key role in shaping how we scale responsibly and compliantly.
You’ll partner cross-functionally to guide complex transactions, build and evolve accounting policies, and ensure our financial reporting aligns with current and emerging standards. This role reports to the Associate Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting.
What You’ll Do

Lead technical accounting under US GAAP and statutory reporting, partnering closely with Tax and cross-functional teams.

Provide expert guidance on new and complex transactions and evolving business models.

Develop and maintain company accounting policies and apply new accounting standards.

Collaborate with external auditors and advisors on technical matters.

Support SEC and statutory disclosures related to accounting policies and new pronouncements.

Drive best practices, process improvements, and special projects across the organization.
What You Bring

6+ years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA required
-
2+ years of experience with US-based insurance companies
-
2+ years of financial reporting experience
