Our client is a well-established Conglomerate Group with diversify businesses across retail, hospitality and properties. As part of strategic growth and transformation, an exciting Strategic Senior Project Manager role has arisen for an experienced Strategy Consulting & Program Management / Projects professional to focus on Business Strategic & Operational change development and implementation of business projects, covering the Greater Bay Area (Cantonese and Mandarin fluency is a MUST).
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Reporting to the Business Strategic & Operations Projects Team Lead, you will lead or execute a portfolio of projects in Hong Kong and GBA across Strategic Change Initiatives, Target Operating Model Designs, Process Changes, Operational Change & Improvement, Implementation and PMO
- Coordinate and facilitate change initiatives by developing the program framework, project scope, project planning and budgeting, schedule and workstreams
- Act as the Program Management Office (PMO) Lead, overseeing and coordinating all workstreams, stakeholders and delivery teams, drive cross-functional alignment, facilitate steering committees and leadership updates and ensure all project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are achieved on time and to quality standards.
- Involve in the project management cycle from planning, roadmap, establish and maintain governance frameworks, track progress against scope, schedule, and budget, proactively manage risks and issues
- Drive procurement and vendor management efforts while strategically allocating resources to support timely and efficient project delivery
- Provide financial management supporting by maintaining accurate records of operational expenses and performance metrics
- Support business in the design of target operating models, define strategic roadmap, perform gap analysis, come up with implementation approach and set priorities
- Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for change and improvement across organisational and business processes
- Develop and implement the change communication plans
- Stay updated with the latest technology and business development, recommend new technological tools to the business and management for improvement
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree qualified ideally with relevant professional qualifications in project management
- Minimum 10 years experience in Management Consulting or Corporates related roles in Program Management / Project Management, Change Management, Business Transformation, Business Process Re-engineering, Operational Process Improvement, Target Operating Model Design and / or Operational Performance Improvement
- Industry exposure to MNCs, Conglomerates, Financial Services, large complex organisations
- Exposure to a diverse range of strategic business change and operations initiatives, NOT IT / Systems / Digital projects
- Proven project management, delivery and execution experience
