We are collaborating with one of Switzerland’s top universities to recruit a Systems Engineer – Identity & Access Management (IAM) who is eager to take responsibility and contribute significantly within a dynamic and agile ICT environment.

Your Role

  • Operate, manage, and continuously improve the Identity & Access Management (IAM) system and related IT infrastructure
  • Integrate various software solutions with the IAM platform and implement technical requirements developed collaboratively with stakeholders, including managing interfaces
  • Provide second-level support for IAM-related issues and coordinate third-level support with external partners when needed
  • Support the security and IAM team with broader IT security initiatives and projects
  • Assist IAM consultants in planning, designing, and implementing identity and access management technologies and processes
  • Provide technical consulting on IAM and related engineering topics within a complex organizational environment
  • Collaborate closely with agile ICT teams, technical experts, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and compliant IAM solutions

Your Profile

  • Degree or advanced training in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience working as a systems engineer or in a similar technical role
  • Initial practical experience with IAM systems and a strong motivation to expand your knowledge independently
  • Interest in IT security and a willingness to actively contribute to the team’s objectives
  • Experience managing directory or identity services (specific platforms optional)
  • Basic knowledge of databases and willingness to learn scripting or automation languages such as PowerShell or Python
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and organized working style
  • Holistic thinking with a broad understanding of enterprise-wide IAM products and processes
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly to different audiences
  • Team player with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset
  • Proficient in both German and English (spoken and written)
