**Technical Pricing Lead – Casualty** – Paris
Oliver James is partnering with a leading international insurance group to find their new Casualty Pricing expert to join its Actuarial Pricing team.
This role focuses on European Casualty business, with a strong emphasis on large accounts. The successful candidate will:
– Lead the actuarial support for large account pricing,
– Act as a technical expert, with a strong focus on loss cost modelling,
– Support Underwriters on technical pricing questions and complex accounts,
– Contribute to business planning and underwriting risk monitoring.
We are seeking a fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills, who can bring a consultative approach and able to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance pricing, preferably within Casualty lines.
The Pricing team works in close collaboration with Reserving and Catastrophe Risk Management teams, under the leadership of the European Chief Actuary. This is a unique opportunity to work on highly technical and complex large accounts within a collaborative, expert-led European environment.
