Title: VP – Platform Delivery (Insurtech)

Our client, a fast-growing Insurtech firm, is seeking VP of Platform Delivery, to own and scale client implementations across the U.S.
You assist carriers and MGAs to modernize customer engagement, underwriting, and claims through a modular, API-first platform. This is a role designed for an executive, hands-on leader, to build, not inherit – developing playbooks & metrics that turn signed deals into successful implementations, whilst ensuring consistent, long-standing client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have some experience partnering directly with smaller (<300 headcount) Insurtech platforms and thrive in having autonomy to shape delivery strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the U.S. implementation operating model, standards, and governance.
- Build and lead cross-functional delivery teams across program management, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Establish delivery KPIs focused on time-to-value, margin, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Create repeatable delivery playbooks and accelerators to reduce customization and improve scalability.
- Own capacity planning, utilization, and delivery readiness as the business grows.
- Act as executive delivery sponsor for large, complex insurer implementations.
- Ensure clear executive communication, milestone tracking, and go-live readiness.
- Oversee transition from implementation to steady-state customer success.
- Provide oversight for integrations with core insurance systems, data platforms, and third-party services.
- Set standards for integration patterns, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to balance client needs with long-term platform scalability.
- Introduce tooling, automation, and delivery best practices to increase efficiency.
Skilled Needed:
- 10+ years leading enterprise SaaS or platform implementations, ideally in insurance.
- Proven experience delivering large, complex programs for enterprise clients.
- Strong understanding of US Insurance carrier technology ecosystems (policy, underwriting, claims, data).
- Experience scaling delivery organizations and operating models in growth-stage environments.
- Comfortable operating and owning Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Executive presence with the ability to lead client conversations at C-suite level.
- Commercially minded, data-driven, and outcomes-focused.
