We're hiring an experienced Android Architect for a 6-month day rate contract with a leading client in Dublin. You'll drive the architecture of Android solutions across key product areas, working closely with mobile, backend, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable features.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining and evolving Android architecture and tech stack

• Leading technical design and code review processes

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on security, performance, and integration

• Supporting mobile teams with clean architecture and modern Android practices

• Contributing to payment integrations (NFC, tokenization, AppSync, etc.)

Requirements:

• Expert in Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Android architecture patterns

• Strong experience in Android security and compliance (PCI-DSS a plus)

• Hands-on experience with mobile payments, hardware integrations, or POS systems is desirable

• Strong communicator and technical leader

• Available to be onsite in Dublin 1-2 days per week
