A global P&C insurance carrier is looking to hire an AVP, Casualty / Commercial General Liability Claims. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for handling mid to complex commercial general liability claims. CGL claims will include premise liability, product liability, auto liability, NYLL and other bodily injury claims. As an AVP you will also provide technical guidance to the team on litigation and coverage matters.

• 5+ years experience handling complex general liability claims (gained at an insurance carrier)
• Strong experience within CGL, premise liability, product liability and others wide ranging bodily injuries
• Experience with NYLL and/or Construction Accidents preferred but not essential
• Direct experience handling complex CGL losses above $100,000 through to large loss limits
• Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential (including writing own coverage letters/RORs)
• Bachelors Degree and Adjuster License in multiple states including TX and FL

This role is on a hybrid schedule from Jersey City NJ (3 days office 2 days remote), with a competitive base salary up to $155,000 + 25% annual bonus. The role also offers excellent benefits and a route of progression into large loss claims handling or leadership.
