About the Role
Oliver James has partnered with a leading organisation undergoing a strategic data transformation program. Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with strong technical data skills to drive impactful data initiatives and support decision-making at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Industrialisation: Build and industrialise KPI dashboards in Power BI, with an initial focus on Customer Promise metrics.

Data Concept Design: Define and detail new data concepts in alignment with transformation programs

Prototyping & Insights: Quickly generate insights and prototypes using self-service tools on existing legacy data models.

Stakeholder Communication: Consolidate insights and prepare clear, strategic presentations for senior stakeholders.

Data Platform Integration: When required, coordinate the industrialisation of solutions on modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.

Change Management & Training: Support adoption by leading change management activities and providing training to end users.

Capability Building: Collaborate closely with reporting teams and functional business analysts to strengthen BI capabilities across the organisation.
Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related role.

Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and (ideally) DAX.

Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks) and cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Proven ability to work with legacy data models while supporting migration to future-proof solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in rapid prototyping and data visualisation.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and simplify complex insights.

Professional proficiency in English is required; French or Dutch is mandatory.

Experience in change management and user training is a strong plus.
