Technical expert for CAT Modeling (RMS), supporting pricing, catastrophe portfolio rollup, and data integrity. Develop processes, conduct analyses, and create reports on exposure accumulations and future risk forecasts. Collaborate with CAT Management to optimize data collection, modeling, and reporting. Manage projects, identify process improvements, and implement enhancements to controls and technology systems for more efficient CAT Management operations.
As a key technical expert, you will focus on Catastrophe Modeling (KCC/RMS) applications and support pricing a variety of reinsurance treaties. Your role will involve generating modeled outputs efficiently, coordinating catastrophe portfolio rollups, and collaborating with the Exposure Management team on ad-hoc projects. You'll ensure data integrity through process development, monthly monitoring, and detailed analyses.
Responsibilities include:
Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct complex analyses, create standard and ad-hoc reports on exposure accumulations, and forecast future risks to keep management informed.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work with CAT and Entity Management teams to enhance data collection, modeling, and reporting efficiency.
Process Development: Develop processes for collecting, monitoring, and improving data integrity.
Project Ownership: Retain ownership and management of CAT-related projects and initiatives directed by CAT Management.
System Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process, control, and system improvements related to CAT Management.
