My client based in the Liverpool area are recruiting for a Changer Manager on a FTC basis, this role requires a candidate who can work with them up until the end of 2021. You will work at the centre of their change programmes and have a good understanding of change management strategies and operational excellence and be able to develop change and transformational plans that take people on the journey of improvement.

Job Purpose

The ideal candidate will work at the centre of change programmes,have a good understanding of change management strategies and operational excellence and be able to develop change and transformational plans that take people on the journey of improvement. The Change manager will have the ability to engage with key stakeholders across the business to promote a culture of continuous improvement leading people to transition to new ways of working and supporting the delivery of transformational change.

Main Responsibilities

  • Clarify the vision and benefits of the Programme
  • Agree the outcomes of the Programme
  • Establish and agree the Change Management strategy
  • Develop a Change Plan and Roadmap outlining the scope, resources, processes and tools required to support the change
  • Identify key stakeholders across the duration of the change
  • Agree with key stakeholders on the scale and impact of change and the work involved, so time and resource commitments can be identified while maintaining business as usual activities
  • Develop a Communications Plan supporting the need to keep all stakeholders well informed of the change and ensure it is seen as a positive opportunity for involvement and engagement
  • Implement exercises and forums to raise awareness, encourage staff participation in the change
  • Act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor as they help their direct reports through transitions.
  • Lead on communication plan development, delivery and feedback loops
  • Support training efforts and providing input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
    Align the communications with the programme vision
  • Build relationship across all communications functions to ensure an integrated strategy
  • Undertake ad hoc communications support where necessary
  • Understand the business challenges and opportunities of the programme, and translate into impactful communications solutions

Requirements

  • Experience as Change Management Practitioner
  • Experience of working on business change projects with the ability to manage complex projects across a multi-directorate organisation
  • Change management & business transformation experience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Delivered communications within a wider business transformation programme
  • Working with diverse sets of stakeholders to agree solutions that meet a range of business demands
  • Proven track record in delivering workshops and other change management techniques, readily adopting new ways of working and technology innovation
  • Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity
  • Understanding of various project management frameworks and methodologies
  • Strong people skills
  • Excellent advisory and facilitation skills.
    Strong influencing and relationship skills. Must be able to influence without the need for direct authority
