Chief Actuary
Our esteemed client, is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and dedicated Chief Actuary to join their organisation, reporting directly to the CEO.
This is a permanent position located within their Jacksonville office, on sight, managing a team of 6. As a pivotal part of a dynamic senior leadership team, the successful candidate will drive innovations and play a key role in the business remaining at the top of the market.
Candidates must have:
- FCAS / ACAS credential
- Previous management experience
- "can do" attitude - this is a hands on role so willingness to be involved in the work is key
- comfortable being full-time on sight
- hold the right to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Role & Responsibilities:
- Leverage statistical modeling techniques to develop pricing structures and insurance product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that enhance product competitiveness and profitability.
- Provide strategic leadership in actuarial analyses and risk assessment to support business objectives.
- Lead regulatory compliance efforts and prepare reports as required by industry standards.
- Engage with senior management to communicate actuarial results and recommendations for business development strategies.
