Oliver James is looking for a new Trilingual Junior Consultant for a major bank in Gent or Louvain-La-Neuve.
As a Consultant you will be responsible for managing daily banking operations within the financial institution.This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and a deep understanding of banking procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process various types of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify the authenticity of customer transactions and documentation to prevent fraud or errors.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding their accounts, transactions, and banking products.
- Educate customers on banking services and products to meet their financial needs.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide reports and data to management for analysis and decision-making purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments such as loan officers, branch managers, and customer service representatives to meet customer needs and organisational goals.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in daily banking operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in Dutch , French and English.
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Certification such as Certified Bank Teller (CBT) or Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) is a plus.
