A multinational client of our is looking for an experience and strategic communications consultant as a Manager level to join their team for 12 months. This plays a pivotal role in supporting their growing health business in Malaysia, shaping and delivery impactful communication strategies within the organisation as well as externally.
As a self-starter and strong communicator, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams - including government relations, marketing, corporate communications and their health officer to craft and manage communications to their customers and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans
- Create content across channels: press releases, newsletters, thought leadership and more
- Support campaigns and initiatives, including regulatory updates and product rollouts
- Coordinate events, webinars, and media engagements
- Monitor industry trends and ensure message alignment with business goals
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimally 5 years of experience in communications, corporate affairs, public relations and/ marketing within the health care, regulatory body or health insurance space
- Strong writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Knowledge of the Malaysia health insurance and regulatory landscape
- Strategic thinker with hands-on writing skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and project management abilities
- Crisis communications, media relations experience would be a strong advantage
