A global P&C insurance carrier is looking to hire a Complex Claims Specialist for their casualty team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of mid to complex casualty and some commercial property claims (both insurance & reinsurance). Claims will involve litigation and coverage investigation so experience is required.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 7+ years casualty claims experience (wide ranging bodily injuries/CGL)
- Exposure to reinsurance claims highly preferred
- Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- The ability to act as a technical lead and provide advice to more junior adjusters
- Excellent MS Excel and other reporting skills - essential
- Bachelors Degree. JD preferred.
This role is on a hybrid schedule from Stamford CT, with an excellent base salary of $150,000-$175,000 plus 20% bonus, along with a clear career path for the future.
