We are currently partnering with a reputable financial services to seek for a Data Governance Manager, you'll be instrumental in upholding the accuracy, thoroughness, and uniformity of the data assets within their finance transformation initiative. You will be working closely with business stakeholders and task to assess, oversee, and enhance data quality across a range of systems and platforms. Your duties will involve crafting and executing processes for assuring data quality, conducting thorough analysis and profiling of data, and pinpointing any issues and their origins. Here are some key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to define the rationale behind data quality checks and recommend optimal points and methods for implementing these checks.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to comprehend data quality prerequisites.
- Perform data profiling and ensure that data quality analysis adheres to the firm's framework and industry best practices.
- Institute mechanisms for monitoring data quality to ensure continuous data integrity and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Guarantee compliance with data security, governance, and regulatory standards throughout all processes.
We are looking for:
- An expert or strong knowledge in data profiling tools and data cleansing or transformation techniques in the finance domain
- Strong understanding of data ingestion, data flow and data operation concept
- Experience in designing solutions for supporting data governance, data quality and data lineage
- Experience in JIRA, Confluence, Github, Bithucket and other similar developer tools
- Has worked with cloud based technologies such as Microsoft Azure
