They are on a two year journey with a forecast to develop an advanced analytics team by 2023. Before then they need someone to take ownership of the data management, quality & flow and set them on the right path to building a world class data function.
This role offers fantastic progression opportunities within a growing data function for a well known brand.
Key responsibilities:
- Be responsible for ensuring data is managed appropriately throughout the business
- Supporting the Head of Data and other department heads to understand their needs and what data they have and can utilise
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
- Getting engagement from business stakeholders and installing data best practice
- Creating, installing, documenting and maintaining data governance policies, processes and standards
Requirements:
- 2-5 years in data management/governance
- Broad understanding of data structures and databases
- Proven experience in improving enterprise data and driving value from it
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of the regulatory challenges within financial services
- English speaking
Salary: This is negotiable and down to the level of experience the candidate brings. They are historically very good payers so we can discuss desired salary on application.
They will offer 2 days working from home post lockdown with a view to making this even more flexible.
