Oliver James is currently engaged with a brand new entrant into the Irish Market, to appoint a Head of Risk into the business.

This is a newly created position within the organisation and will be responsible for ensuring the risk function operates in an effective and robust risk management framework including ALM strategy.

• The successful candidate will also be responsible for the coordination of Risk Function activities including ORSA and development ORSA scenarios.
• Coordinating the implementation of the risk management strategy & framework along with oversight of the 1LOD.
• In conjunction with the CRO, lead the interactions of the risk function with key internal and external senior stakeholders.
• Coordinating of risk policy reviews.

Another responsibility to this role will see the successful candidate build out a team of risk professionals, from the senior manager down.
