Title: Director, Actuarial Services - MSSP
Location: Remote

Salary: $180,000-$220,000 + Bonus

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Monthly Forecasting:
Develop and manage monthly financial forecasts by analyzing trends in utilization, revenue, and cost across MSSP populations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and strategy.IBNR & Financial Projections:
Perform accurate IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) calculations and generate financial projections to support planning, reporting, and risk management.Data Analysis & Insight Translation:
Partner with analytic teams to review large data sets, extract key insights, and present actionable summaries for leadership and operational decision-making.Budgeting & Planning:
Own the biannual budgeting process (typically October and January), building detailed financial models to guide strategy and support long-term planning.Support Business Development:
Work closely with growth and sales teams to provide actuarial input on new business opportunities, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.Collaborate with Providers & Partners:
Serve as a strategic partner to internal teams, external providers, and business stakeholders-ensuring alignment on goals and communicating complex actuarial concepts clearly.Drive Cross-Functional Communication:
Act as a bridge between actuarial, clinical, operational, and executive teams-translating financial and actuarial work into strategic insights that support the broader mission.
What We're Looking For:
8+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in value-based care or government programs
ASA or FSA designation (FSA strongly preferred)
Deep expertise in MSSP
Hands-on experience with forecasting and financial modeling
Strong background in reserving/IBNR calculations
Experience with ACO REACH
Exceptional analytical and modeling skills
Excellent communication skills
