Reporting into the Group CISO, this role will straddle international jurisdictions and be essential to re-defining and implementing a best in-class Security Architecture posture.
My client, a global insurance company, is currently seeking a Director of Cyber Security to take the reigns of critical cyber security architecture function within the wider CISO function. Reporting into the Group CISO, this role will straddle international jurisdictions and be essential to re-defining and implementing a best in-class Security Architecture posture.
The successful Cyber Security Director (Architecture) will:
- Inherit a small team of architects and engineers, and be expected to grow this in line with risk appetite and need according to specialism and technology stack.
- Be responsible for the direction of security architecture and engineering across north America & be expected to be a though leader globally.
- Be a vital voice of reason to various business-critical change and transformation programmes globally to ensure security is built in by design and taken seriously.
Suitable candidates will likely:
- Come from a financial services background
- Have a demonstrable track-record as a strong hands-on security architect earlier in their career, giving them credibility with their teams.
- Be able to clearly articulate business requirements to senior stakeholders and identify key risk remediation strategies to implement at enterprise level.
- Have successfully built security teams divisions recently.
