Electrical Engineer

Our client, with their EMENA HQ in Herentals is looking for an electrical engineer to join their specialised division that is in charge of custom building machinery for their clients.

The company, originally USA based, has existed since 1960 and has since grown in numbers, locations and different business units. From their division in Herentals they focus on animal health and animal nutrition, producing different products that are sold to leading companies that we all know and trust. As part of the services they offer their client, they sell/lease custom made machinery for ideal dosage, making sure their clients have top notch technology to start of their high quality production.

JOB

• You will be part of the team that is focused on custom made machinery for the clients
• This means you will be in contact with many different internal and external stakeholders to fully understand the requirements
• Understanding the full scope, will lead you and the specialist team to discuss what changes need to be made to the standard equipment
• You will focus yourself on the electrical aspect of the changes that need to be made and ensure the changes will always be of high quality
• This also translates to choosing and ordering needed materials
• Together with the entire team, you will see the machine come together in the workplace where the technician works closely with the engineers
• After successful testing, you and the rest of the team will assure the machine is able to be shipped in an efficient and safe manner
• Any changes made to the standard equipment, will be documented in the guidelines that the client will receive so that installation can be done easily by the local technicians and engineers
• You will be working in a small team, which means you will also be in contact with mechanical and automation where in the ideal world the team can support each other where and when needed

PROFILE

• We're looking for someone who likes to be part of a small team covering different engineering disciplines
• Ideally you have a technical education as a background - being A2, Graduate, Bachelor or Masters
• You like being behind a computer and also like going to the workshop to see everything come together
• Dutch is a plus but English is a must
• You have a team player attitude and love to learn
