We are hiring an Equity Analyst to join the internal investment team of a leading insurance group. This is a permanent, in-house role supporting long-term proprietary equity investments.

You will work within a lean, high-performing team to generate research insights, support portfolio construction, and deliver detailed analysis on listed equities. This role offers strong exposure to institutional investing and strategic decision-making at the insurance buy-side level.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research and financial modelling on a coverage list of SGX-listed equities (mandatory)

• Monitor and assess company fundamentals, earnings results, and macroeconomic factors

• Produce internal investment memos, earnings summaries, and sector insights

• Collaborate with portfolio managers on buy/sell/hold decisions and risk monitoring

• Contribute to internal discussions on thematic positioning, sector allocation, and long-term capital strategies

• Keep up to date with regulatory developments, including ESG and market risk considerations

✅ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in equity research (buy-side or sell-side)

• Direct experience covering Singapore-listed companies is a must

• Strong foundation in financial analysis, modelling, and valuation techniques

• Proficient in Excel and Bloomberg; VBA or Python knowledge is a plus

• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills

• Independent, analytical, and detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset

• ESG knowledge or exposure will be advantageous
