Our client, one of Europe's biggest Bank Insurance groups has opened a brand new & exclusive requirement to Oliver James. They are looking for an Executive International Banking Strategist to join a new team looking to develop and create new & existing banking relationships across Europe.
We need someone who is well-versed in M&A topics and who has a solid background in insurance. Ideally, the candidate will have 8+ years of experience in either life or non-life insurance, as well as be able to speak English, French, and one other language.
The role is to join a brand new and expanding team looking at pitching to new clients and developing relationships with international banks and investment banks. This can include implementing international partnership programs.
The successful candidate will also:
- Manage and coordinate M&A and manage international projects of this kind.
- Implement projects and programs internally with the banking group and externally with new banking groups
- Advise Senior stakeholders and COMEX teams on strategic plans and axes
- Strategic Planning for internal and external purposes
Salary - Very attractive packages on offer
Progression - Lots on offer with it being a new and developing commercially focussed team
Working from home - 2/3 Days
International travel - Yes on client visits around Europe but not overly frequent
Management - Very senior manager with over 25 years' experience in this area both locally and internationally. The perfect mentor!
