I am currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a well-established Lloyds insurers. The role will be hybrid and the office is based in London city centre. It is a FTC for 6 months.
Day to day responsibilities of the role include;
- Responsibility for accounting, reconciliation, control and analysis tasks in relation to annual technical financial close processes
- Working closely with other functions and stakeholders on delivery of closing processes- could be in actuarial, underwriting, reinsurance and IT
- Performing and documenting financial controls related to close process
The ideal candidate will have;
- Experience of insurance and technical accounting
- Accountant qualifications or qualified by experience
- Experience of Workday or similar general ledger systems
