I am currently supporting a leading Life Insurance business on their search for a Finance Manager (Projects & Systems) during a period of transformation
The role will be responsible for
- Responsible for all Financial Reporting aspects to Lloyd's
- Responsible for preparation of Statutory Accounts, Tax and other regulatory requirements as required including liaising with the external auditor and application tax/regulatory authority
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory and accounting frameworks within the insurance industry, UKGAAP, IFRS, Solvency II Prudential Standards & Guidance, tax knowledge, basic investment accounting knowledge
- Experience preparing audit files, statutory financial statements, regulatory returns and liaising with external auditors (essential)
- To be a Risk Owner, responsible for monitoring and mitigating (via implementing appropriate systems and controls) the risks in accordance with the Board's agreed risk appetite and tolerance.
Profile Requirements
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience within the Insurance/Lloyds market
- Must have full right to work within the UK (no sponsorship available and applications will not be considered)
- Hybrid/flexible working available.
