In this role, you will join the Finance & Accounting department of one of the Leading Global Insurer and is responsible for providing finance support specifically involved in financial regulatory reporting to internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Delivery of accurate and timely regulatory reporting submission to the MAS
- Delivery of accurate and timely local GAAP submission (Singapore FRS financial statement)
Your role:
- Preparation of financial reports / regulatory returns in accordance to internal deadlines and requirements and maintain oversights over overseas offices regulatory submissions
- Prepares relevant MAS forms for submission to MAS
- Prepares analytical review of the above
- Liaise with internal/external auditors and tax agent
- Ensure compliance with the Company's accounting policies and statutory reporting requirements
- To keep abreast of developments in best practices in tax, accounting and reporting standards, as well as regulations and to update the team and the management accordingly on impact, etc
- To participate in related projects/assignments and ensure successful implementation
Successful qualifier of this mission:
- Degree in Accountancy / Finance
- Qualified accountant
- 4 to 5 years of working experience preferably in Finance reporting and insurance industry
- People management skills
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Chartered Accountant registered with recognised Accounting Professional Bodies (i.e. CA of ICPAS)
