My client, a top Private Credit Asset Manager is looking for a Senior Manager to join and lead their expanding team. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate financials.
- Record fund-level expenses like management and incentive fees.
- Review financial statements and monthly reports for accuracy.
- Forecast fund performance and liquidity to support planning.
- Handle investor activities like capital calls, distributions, and reporting.
- Oversee transfer agent tasks and resolve investor issues.
- Ensure BDCs stay compliant with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare board materials and support financial audits.
- Coach junior team members and improve accounting processes.
- Work on special projects like system upgrades and regulatory filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7-10 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with BDCs, private equity, or hedge funds.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with GAAP financial statements and SEC filings.
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of tools like PowerBI, Workday, or Wall Street Office is a plus.
