My client, a top Private Credit Asset Manager is looking for a Senior Manager to join and lead their expanding team. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate financials.
• Record fund-level expenses like management and incentive fees.
• Review financial statements and monthly reports for accuracy.
• Forecast fund performance and liquidity to support planning.
• Handle investor activities like capital calls, distributions, and reporting.
• Oversee transfer agent tasks and resolve investor issues.
• Ensure BDCs stay compliant with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare board materials and support financial audits.
• Coach junior team members and improve accounting processes.
• Work on special projects like system upgrades and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7-10 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with BDCs, private equity, or hedge funds.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with GAAP financial statements and SEC filings.
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of tools like PowerBI, Workday, or Wall Street Office is a plus.
