Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Handle the import/export and processing of geographic datasets between internal platforms and third-party systems.
Conduct thorough checks to ensure spatial data quality and consistency throughout project stages.
Translate field survey results and technical studies into GIS formats and update relevant databases.
Develop scripts and tools to streamline data handling, report generation, and mapping outputs.
Perform spatial queries and analysis to support planning, design, and operational decision-making.
Act as a GIS point of contact within the team, sharing technical insights and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Provide expert support in geospatial data usage and ensure all activities align with project standards.
Your Background:
Degree in geography, geoinformatics, geomatics, cartography, or a related technical field.
2-5+ years of hands-on experience working with GIS platforms like ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
Familiar with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) and data visualization techniques.
Previous involvement in telecommunications, utilities, or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in geospatial software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, FME).
Capable of managing and transforming large spatial datasets.
Proficient in scripting (e.g., Python, R, SQL) to automate GIS tasks and data pipelines.
Solid understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and data formats used in geospatial work.
Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
