We are seeking an experienced Global Payroll Specialist for an 8-month contract assignment to support end-to-end payroll operations across multiple regions. This is a turnkey role for a self-starter who can jump in and manage payroll processes with minimal oversight. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll for a population of approximately 3,800 employees across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and review payroll for ~3,800 employees across multiple geographies

  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies

  • Partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors to manage payroll calendars, reporting, and audits

  • Manage payroll adjustments, off-cycle payments, and reconciliations

  • Respond to and resolve payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Maintain meticulous records for audits and compliance purposes

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in payroll processing, including U.S. and Canadian payroll (required)

  • Experience with European payroll is a strong plus

  • Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, global environment

  • Strong knowledge of statutory requirements and payroll best practices

  • Familiarity with multi-country payroll systems and vendors (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, etc.)

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting payroll populations across EMEA regions

  • Global payroll certification (FPC, CPP, or equivalent)

This is a contract role with a defined term of 8 months. We're looking for someone who is immediately available and turnkey ready to contribute from day one.
