A Well Established Financial Services firm with a strong presence in APAC. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Cyber Security to join our well-established financial services company. The ideal candidate will be technically hands-on and come from a Banking / Financial Services Background with a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect the company's sensitive information and systems
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of security measures and protocols
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends in the financial services industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 15+ years of working experience in Technology, with at least 10 + years in cybersecurity, preferably in a banking environment/ Financial Services / Insurance
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and regulations
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
