About the role

As part of the Group Strategy in digital transformation, they have been actively exploring opportunities to conduct virtual and hybrid events in building a knowledge and experience sharing sessions for senior management.

Job Description

  • Strategic position in digital acceleration and adopting in hosting virtual & hybrid events
  • Content strategy & program planning - to research event topics and themes, & to design key messages and pointers for senior management
  • There will be a manager in the team to support marketing event coordination

Hybrid And Virtual Events

  • Possess the necessary skills to produce successful and impactful Virtual and Hybrid events based on best practices
  • Collaborate and partner with AIA's Group Technology and Media Services teams to research and execute decisions with a digital-first mindset, to grasp the pros and cons of different technical platforms, to engage and interact with audiences online, to produce/edit video content and to perform relevant requirements

Strategic Planning

  • Proactively and methodically map out a Group Office Event Calendar to anticipate and plan for events based on consultations with partners from the relevant Group office functions*. The PED (Programming Event Director) should know when these events are happening and plan for organise and execute them in a non-reactive manner.

Programming And Content

  • Able to design an event program that features theme, topics and content suitable for the event. Able to write a well-developed theme, panel synopses and other programming/content ideas for the event. Able to see the event as showcasing a clear narrative, communicating clear messages, telling a story for the audience

Event Marketing And Communication With Stakeholders

  • Able to understand that events build AIA's brand and events themselves have a brand of their own. Events can have a reputation with a certain following, builds a desired community; be known as having high standards and qualities.
