Oliver James are mandated by their long-standing, tier-one global consulting client to assist in the recruitment of an Identity Access Senior Manager sitting with their broad and skilled Cyber Security practice.

Oliver James are mandated by their long-standing, tier-one global consulting client to assist in the recruitment of an Identity Access Senior Manager sitting with their broad and skilled Cyber Security practice.

Likely basic salary will be £110,000 - £120,000, excluding a broad and competitive benefits package. The role will be based in London - split between office, home, clients.

You will be a self-starter with a passion for cyber and technology, comfortable with operating in a very-fast-paced environment where you will define and lead the implementation of various solutions.

As a technical specialist, you will have extensive practical experience with key technologies used in enterprise IT environments, including Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services and others. Also, you will be an expert at distilling complex technical matters into simple narratives.

Your professional experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable experience in a related discipline with several years of related work experience along with the following:
  • Advanced, practical experience of Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 and Windows 10
  • Advanced, practical experience of Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Federation Services, Certificate Services, DNS and DHCP
  • Advanced, practical experience of Azure Active Directory including Azure Active Directory Connect and other Azure Identity Services
  • Experience with Active Directory analysis tools and techniques
  • Practical experience of Active Directory compromise recovery

Experience with at least one of the following:

  • Microsoft's enhanced security administrative environment (ESAE)
  • Microsoft's Tiered administrative model
  • Microsoft's Enterprise access model
  • Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including concisely communicating status and creating customer reports and presentations

In addition to the above the following are desirable:

  • Consulting background
  • Prior incident response / recovery experience
  • Understanding of malware and the modern threat landscape
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. certifications from Microsoft, ISC2, ISACA, SANS, GIAC, EC-Council etc.)
  • AWS / Azure / Office 365 platform knowledge and configuration experience
  • Knowledge and configuration experience with IAM software (e.g. SailPoint, CyberArk, ForgeRock etc.)
  • Role based access control (RBAC) design
