We are looking for a transformation-focused finance professional to lead the IFRS17 retrofit and Chart of Accounts redesign across a global life insurance business. This role is part of a major finance transformation programme and requires strong system knowledge and industry experience.

About the Role

We are hiring a Finance Transformation Specialist to support the delivery of IFRS17 and Chart of Accounts (CoA) transformation within a leading life insurance group. This role is part of a large-scale regional finance transformation programme and will involve working with stakeholders across multiple business units and systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the harmonisation and administration of Chart of Accounts (CoA) across business units and legacy systems

  • Support the implementation of Oracle, preferably Oracle EDMCS, as part of the IFRS17 reporting transformation

  • Work with multiple finance systems (e.g., Oracle, Onestream, HFM) and ensure smooth CoA mapping and integration

  • Collaborate with upstream systems (e.g., policy admin systems and subledgers) to support consistent data flows and interfaces

  • Conduct impact analysis, data validation, and reconciliation during IFRS17 implementation and CoA restructuring

  • Work closely with Group Finance and business units to streamline reporting, reduce manual effort, and enable automation

  • Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documentation, and stakeholder communication


Key Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in life insurance finance or transformation projects

  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS17 accounting and associated financial reporting processes

  • Hands-on experience in Oracle implementation, preferably Oracle EDMCS

  • Proven experience in CoA administration and harmonisation across multi-entity environments

  • Ability to operate in complex system landscapes involving multiple CoAs, subledgers, and reporting tools

  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or other automation solutions is an advantage
